nero blu-ray burning
does anyone on the list use nero for burning blu-ray content? before when i would use nero video and add files to the project, then select do not create a menu, each file would have its own chapter so you could skip from 1 file to the next. now when i make a recording it just creates one big file without any chapter marks. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks les Sales & Customer Service Duplication & custom Printing Les Gordon ph: (866)356-2602 fx: (866)259-5876 email: mr...@comcast.net Ebay Id: mrdvd05
Re: Nero 2015
I'm getting the impression that function keys start you in whatever function you want. The problem for me at this time is that when I start NBR, I get what looks like a splash screen and the only way I can punch through it is to pick the option presented by Windows when it asks me what I want to do such as play cd in WMP, etc. I can pick that and then the f keys let me go wherever I want, but I resent it. I'm playing with the trial copy. I don't want to buy the full package with lots of software I don't want to use. I will look at Andrea's suggestions and see what's easiest to use. I remember when Nero was a pleasure to use, but I also remember that tech support was crap. - Original Message - From: Hamit Campos hamitcam...@gmail.com To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Thursday, June 18, 2015 11:01 PM Subject: RE: Nero 2015 Yeah I get that. Jawsfriendly Version of Nero [was] RE: Strange Problem With Ripping CD With CDEX
I think I'm using Nero 10. I've never heard of a Jawsunfriendly version of Nero as long as you use Nero Burning Rom and not Nero Express, which I've always found very inconvenient to handle. What do you think of Nero 12 Platinum
Hi folks, I’m supposed to setup a system for a friend. In fact a pretty cool one. Smiley Now he uses Nero 10 or 11 for disk copying, data burning, and so on. How does Nero 12 work with screen readers like Jaws? I’d be really happy for answers from people who has actually tried it out. Artist And Title Using Nero Six
Is there a way to have Nero six use the song title and artist information from the file name to write it on a CD? I checked the box that says write text to CD but all it did was write track 1, track 2 etc and for artist it says unknown. The manual is a bit vague. There are edit boxes to enter song title and artist for each track but that's a lot of work. Thanks, Tom To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

which nero is for me?
Hi Gang, I just got a new computer with windows 7 64 bit. I had xp before. I am just trying to learn my way around. My immediate problem is that I was looking at Nero and somehow accidently uninstalled it. I was looking on the site and it's kind of dawnting knowing which one. Basically I just want one that I can copy cds and make cds from files on the hard drive. I noticed a free one there but don't know if it will copy cds. Hi All. I'm compelled to try this again: I'm sorry for the repeat, but in my house, I've looked all over for the disk of Nero 5.5 that I purchased, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Someone told me that it's illegal to give out this information, but I thought I got this from someone on this list about a couple of years ago, but I could be mistaken. I had inadvertently uninstalled Nero 5.5, and when trying to install it again, of course it asks for my serial number on the Nero disk, but I can't seem to find it. I would like to reinstall it because I liked the program, but since I can't find the disk, I can't put in the needed serial number. I hope this isn't illegal to provide this information, but if anyone who still may be using 5.5, could you email that serial number, so that maybe I can install this. I could get Nero 9, but I'm not sure how accessible this version is. I have a copy of Premier CD Creator, but that seems to be a bit harder to use, since I've been used to working with Nero. Windows has CD burning built in, but I think that many have said that it's better to use software that's especially designed for this purpose. I'm sorry for rambling, and I hope that what I'm asking for is not illegal, but could someone please help, if possible? Thanks for any anyone can provide. How do others obtain copies of their favorite CD burning software? said To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

Hi, What is being talked about and what you are talking about are two completely different things. I might add here that jaws 10 already comes with scripts for itunes - and your paying half of the price of an ipod nano 8 gb (or more) to make a free peace of software accessible. 70 pounds = around 140 canadian dollars. Re: Nero 5.5
Thanks, Chris, and I appreciate that, but I don't really know where my Nero CD is, and someone checked his Nero 5.5 and gave me his serial number, and it worked. Apparently, I didn't install it, although I wasn't aware of it at the time when I tried to burn a CD, and couldn't burn it; so if the gentleman who gave me his number, and it worked then, if this gentleman or someone else who's still using 5.5 could please give me his serial number, I will try it again. I'm sorry for taking this much time on this, but I'm trying to burn a CD so what I'm trying to burn doesn't languish on the harddrive any longer, and clutter it up. One other question if I may: What's the latest Version of Nero that's accessible with Jaws? I hear that the newest version of Nero is Nero 9. Is this accessible? Maybe I'll have to get a newer version of Nero, so I can get the serial number on that CD, but I can't seem to find the 5.5 CD. It must have been misplaced, or I'm going to have to look hard for it, because I couldn't find it before. - Original Message - From: Chris Hallsworth christopher...@googlemail.com To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2009 2:09 PM Subject: Re: Nero 5.5 Gary it should be on the CD somewhere. When I upgraded from Nero 6 I didn't have the original CD to hand and had to resort to finding the SN in the registry! A bit tedious, but if all else fails this can be done - nero give instructions on their site somewhere on how to do this. Vista ready CD burners other than Nero?
Hi there. I was, and I guess still am to a degree, considering purchasing Nero 9. But after reading all of its features, most of which I will not use, it's beginning to seem a bit like buying a GPS system to help me navigate from my desk to the front door. What I need is a good and reliable Cd burner that works well with screen readers, lives comfortably on a Vista machine and maybe costs a bit less than Nero's $79 price tag. I don't plan to burn DVDs be they Blue Ray or standard. But I would like something that offers more than just basic CD burning with no extras. Any suggestions on something that might be worth considering? Thanks for any thoughts you might have on the subject. Re: question about nero and moving folders?
Hi angel, Not really sure if this will work or not but in nero's explorer window make sure that it looks in drive h. When you save compilations it will always look in drive C for them first you have to basically show and tell it where the files are. Once it knows to look in drive h it should handle it without any hitches. Hope this helps. making mixed CDs with Nero
I would appreciate it if some kind list member would provide step by step instructions as to how to make a mixed CD using either Nero 6 7 or 8. I would prefer using Nero burning rom. I use version 7 but have access to other versions if they are more accessible. What I want to do is to make a small text file containing the track titles and include this as the non CDA part of a mixed CD. Although I prefer using Window Eyes, I also have a demo of JFW 10 if your instructions are better suited to Jaws. Thanks in advance for feedback. Hi yes I burn the disk with the stuff on my hard drive. like I always do and it worked before and now it seems like something has changed. well i need some help on an issue that I have discovered with nero and making cd's
Hi okay remember I was having one heck of a time trying to create that I so file and then finally got it made and tried to burn it. but yet had all kinds of problems with that part of it also. Well hear is a strange one. I tried to make an audio of songs off of my hard drive from a cd that I had ripped to the hard drive like from two days ago. Well okay so I went in to Nero seven and told it to make an audio cd like I have done time and time again. So then after I selected all of the tracks that I wanted to have in my disc. OI went on to the finally burn settings. there I selected what I wanted and told it to burn. Now it burned the disc and then I took the disc out when it was finished and put it in one of my cd players that works perfectly. And again all of the tracks were there but no audio. But now if I copy a cd it works fine. So is something checked that is a digital mode somewhere or what could be causing this? I am using cd recordables and those are working also. If I make a copy of a disc then the recorded works fine and plays fine also. I only get all of the tracks and no audio on them when I create a cd and try to burn that on to a cd recordable. No I don't have my image recorder checked in Nero either. So then is something muted that shouldn't be cause this only seems to happen when I would like to take mp3 audio files that are on my c drive and burn them to an audio cd and nothing else. My suggestions on what to look in to/ I am running a windows xp home addition machine and window eyes 7.01 and a sound blaster live sound card. If that help any. all assistance is welcome. Re: need help with a strange issue with a cd I burned with nero
I would check the sampling and bit rate of the mp3 files. In Nero check and see what write speed you are using. it may be to fast. have Nero verify the disc while it is writing the disc. I get better results this way. lastly, the brand of disc you are using may be at fault.when the disc is done burning, try wiping the disc with a soft cloth to see if this helps when trying to play it in a machine. Re: creating in i so file with nero express
Casey, I enter Nero from the Smart start essentials. then I arrow down to what type of project I want to do. sometimes you have to hit the more advanced button with the spacebar for all the options to sho up. I select audio CD, press the add button, brows to where I have my music I want to burn, select each track with the spacebar, go to next. after hitting the next button, a screen comes up for the final burn settings. you will find a box that asks you what recorder you want to use. all the drives on your computer that record to disc will b listed. at the top of the list is the image recorder. arrow up to it, this will burn an ISO image to your hard drive. proceed to burn. you should be asked to name the what is called the NRG file I think it is. save it, bring up Nero express. select the type of disc you which to burn. use your screen reader mouse function to find burn a Cd image. left click on this. you may have to browse for your file. once you do this, you will go through the procedure if the disc is in the proper drive, it should burn the ISO file on to the disc for you. I hope this helps you. I am kind of new to Nero myself. if anyone has a better way, they might just tell you and me. Help needed with Nero Express
Hi Folks, Well I'm not sure what has happened, but, once upon a time, I was able to make several copies of my CDs by setting the number of copies number. I can still do this, but now, Mero keeps the original cd in the closed drive drawer and starts re-copying copy number two over the same original CD. Another thing that is happening is that this time when I start the burn process, I am asked what and where to name the image file. I'm really not interested in saving anything on my computer. Is there a way to keep Nero from bringing this save dialog box up? I somehow think that Nero bringing up this save dialog box is part of the problem I am having with being able to make several copies at a time. Wow! and thanks much. All help is welcome on this if you can understand what I am getting at with this message. Nero 7
Having a terrible problem getting Nero 7 to use non-variable stero. The box is checked to make it fixed, but Winamp always calls it variable with alt-f3. Ideas welcome. Nero 9 accessibility
I've been getting notices about the release of Nero 9. It seems that after a little tweeking, Nero 8 worked well. Has anyone tried Nero 9 especially with Jaws? Re: Nero 9 accessibility
I'm using Nero 9 with Window-Eyes and it seems to be very accessible. The menus in Nero burning Rom speak correctly which was a problem in early versions of Nero 8. I haven't tested it with JAWS but I think it would work well with JAWS too. Also Nero Express is still very accessible at least with Window-eyes. Regards Steve.
