Every time I have installed Winamp, it wants to default to fading in and out when a file starts, stops, and pause/restart. I would like to make it start and stop abruptly. I think it has to do with a plug-in. Can anyone explain what I should do to achieve this action? Thank you very much

If you all want to think that Winamp is the best then go right ahead but to me its really like saying that the Cats Whisker was the best thing for radio, you’re really fighting a losing battle. Sure, it will be nice if new life is brought into Winamp but for me its easier to move on and look

Hi. One thing that Winamp used to do is have the ability to scan an mp3 file and fill in the tag info. This worked well even if there was no tag in the file. Unfortunately Winamp doesn't do this anymore. Is there a program to do what I want? This even worked if the file names were

All I can say is foobar 2000. Yes you have to set it up yourself but once you do it is so customizable that it can beat anything winamp can do. In fact, you can manage multiple playlists at the same time, copy files from windows explorer, and make your won hot keys for every single command
