I found it by going into Winamp Preferences with Ctrl+P, then pressing P three times for Plug-ins, arrowing twice down to Output, Tabbing twice to the list of plug-ins. The first one on my list is NullSoft Direct Sound Output. Tab to and activate the Configure Button. This opens a multi-page

Winamp start pause and stop

Every time I have installed Winamp, it wants to default to fading in and out when a file starts, stops, and pause/restart. I would like to make it start and stop abruptly. I think it has to do with a plug-in. Can anyone explain what I should do to achieve this action? Thank you very much

I've been using Winamp since 1998 and don't intend to stop unless I can find another player that's more accessible and does what i want it to. I'll be interested if and when a new version comes out. You'd have to show me a player that's even better, and that's a tall order. On 12/23/2015 11

All I can say is foobar 2000. Yes you have to set it up yourself but once you do it is so customizable that it can beat anything winamp can do. In fact, you can manage multiple playlists at the same time, copy files from windows explorer, and make your won hot keys for every single command
