Yes - Shaw's "Closeups in Nature" is definitely worth the read, so too is the Kodak workshop series book on close up. photography. The Kodak book has more of the formulae than Shaw's, but you almost need both of them to get a complete picture. Shaw has changed his mind on some points in later

Hi, gang First, thanks to all who helped with tips. Yesterday I tried to clean the screen. First, removed it, and to my surprise discovered the dirt was not in the screen. It was in the "condenser" or whatever name the glass where the numbers are printed, the one between the screen and the prism.
