Apparently the one in the movie is a mock-up of an experimental version
developed to fire 5.56mm ammunition. It was intended to be man portable.
The experiment did not work out.
I don't think they used a real XM214. The movie has a prop gun that
spins the barrels, but doesn't actually fire.

Some nice work, I particularly like the image of the woman with the child.
I've been drooling over that lens since it was announced, but my Leica
kit either can't mount it or doesn't have 75mm framelines (Bessa R and
an M3) so I'm probably just going to get an old Nikkor-P.C 85/2
instead.

I like this one a lot. The inclusion of the ground and trunks gives context,
and there isn't a color shift toward the top right as there was in the original.
I love dogwoods; they're gorgeous in both the spring and fall.
