You may be right. You have submitted some great stuff and I would
expect your level of submissions to be fairly consistent. If they are

outright.

Hello Jack,
speed of rejection - about 1 day.

I've found it's very hard to get a kid pic in the gallery. I've only
made it with one of hers. The blowing bubbles shot was rejected in
one day. Based on what PDML members indicated in terms of recent
accepted pics, only dramatic landscapes make the grade. I rarely

So you are indicating a no vote - at least that is what I am

landscapes or major wildlife (600/4 territory) seem to dominate these

Remember my speedy rejection whine awhile back?
I contacted Carolyn who said that she had, also, had a one day
rejection, was going to re-submit her image and suggested I do the
same. She stated that there had been some voting issues during that
particular time. I did re-submit my image and it was
I first posted it here to get ideas on cropping - only one person
suggested taking out everything but the boy - everyone else felt there
was some context to be had by leaving some of the teammates in.
Thanks for your thoughts. I am trying to figure out what is worth
submitting these days.

I may do that - my reason to ask here is to see if most people also
feel it should have been rejected or not. If most do, then it isn't
worth resubmitting and I learn something more about my photos. For
this one, I felt it was better than a quick rejection - but maybe I'm
wrong.

I was better than a quick rejection, but I doubt that you could get it
accepted. I don't think it's what they're looking for. Fair? Maybe not, but
that seems to be the way things are.

I don't think I would have expected that photo to make the cut, Bruce.
The bar is set very high these days. That photo has just enough
shortcomings (composition and
