Do you know how well the Pentax-K 2.8/28mm is rated?
Or the Pentax-M 2.8/24mm ?

Very interesting, Boris.
Yes, it seems the M 3.5/28mm lens is doing better wide open, but the DA is
doing a lot better stopped down.

hanks, Don. Yhe A 2.8/28mm doesn't look that bad, considered a half stop
difference.

K 2.5/135mm, K 2.8/105, A 2.8/20mm as well as the three limited leses are
good examples. Are there more Petnax'es that does this convinsingly?

K 2.5/135mm
F 4-5.6/70-210mm @ 135mm
Tamron (Adaptall) 3.5/70-150mm @ 135mm
It may still be awiting approval working it may, then wait and try later.

to use
(MF). Other than that a brillinat lens.
On the D it actually in a way does the same job as a FA 2.8/200mm ED IF on
a film body - at a fraction of the price (3000 USD in my country). So, if
you can live with MF you can save 2800 USD!

On a 35mm SLR and focused at the closest (appr. 150 cm) a human head,
including the hair and part of the neck, will fill the frame. So why be able
to get any closer?
