The problem is that the actual angle of view is not what you'd expect given the
FL as the sensor is so small. The E-10 at the 9mm setting isn't wider than the
LX with the 31mm. Big chunk of glass for the speed too.

the covering then trimmed accurately using a knife from the front face.
The backing paper is then simply peeled away and the covering stuck back on. I
personally wouldn't touch glues, I've seen the mess repairers have made on my
cameras :-(

don't think that's going to go away if it were saved as TIFF, it looks like a
demosaicing aberration. Solution shoot RAW and process with a more capable
algorithm off the camera.

and screen resolution. It not sufficient to say white text on a black

The finder on the E-1 better be more impressive than the E-10/20 which really
is crap, it's like looking at the image though a pipe and dark too. Not very
impressive if you are used to good SLR finders.

stand how it is supposed to work but is seems that it really is only
an advantage with an image that is out of focus across the image unlike the
product Focal Blade.

kills your effective ISO but there is always more blue channel captured and

Post process what you like but in all likelihood to make the best of any image
requires a degree of manual post processing that would be extremely difficult
to emulate under an automated system.
