Well all I can
Almost ready to install the new firmware. This advice confuses me a
little though. Isn't it that LMS 8.x.x requires a patch on the SB Radio?
It doesn't require it (any more). I built in some work around at some
point, manipulating the version number for those players. But it's a
workaround,

Logitech Media Server is installed on Windows 7, in all settings my
network player HXMELODY HX500 is displayed as a render - here is the
information: Model
HX500 Renderer: UPnPBridge
Player Type: squeezelite
Player IP: 192.168.1.42

Leave the additional debug to "none", clean the log and take a log while
trying to play. This one is in full debug and is a short extract so it
does not contain useful information

One weird thing though. Installed the update on my wife's Windows

temperature to one decimal place (ie: current temp is -17.8 C) while the
windows box shows only the significant
One thing I have noticed recently which I am sure wasn't happening a

doesn't update. I have to close the menu then reopen it to see the state

It's easy to install and manage.
It's part of the Daphile distribution.

I did have a quick look around for this but as it's such a monster
thread I couldn't seem to search it that efficiently - sorry :o
On the default skin I get a message at the bottom to say if a new
version of LMS is available, and in Material I get a lime green blob by

I'll have a look at the TrackStat implementation and I'll play with the

I vaguely remember "IR maps" and similar things from my time playing
with the code. Lng time ago... :)
Any other input how this is best implemented is most welcome. "Custom IR
