Yes - Fedora is often a pain.
OK - covered the usual problem areas - time to get back to basics.

It's in it :
Code:
[hifi@fedo Spec]$ cat /etc/group
root:x:0:
bin:x:1:
daemon:x:2:
sys:x:3:
adm:x:4:
tty:x:5:
disk:x:6:
lp:x:7:
mem:x:8:
kmem:x:9:
wheel:x:10:hifi,squeezeboxserver
cdrom:x:11:squeezeboxserver
mail:x:12:
man:x:15:
dialout:x:18
Some distro s of linux require users ot be in specific groups to access
specific hardware.
If you have an audio group make sure squeezeboxserver is added to that
group.

There are several occurrences of Unix.pm. I looked at :
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Utils/OS/Unix.pm
Code:
sub initSearchPath {
my $class = shift;
$class->SUPER::initSearchPath();
my @paths = (split(/:/, ($ENV{'PATH'} ||
'/sbin:/usr/sb
Now check, if the cdda2wav is in LMS' path. See here #230:

First make sure the cdda2wav works OK from a shell prompt and can "find"
Try sudo chmod 755 /dev/cdrom. It could be a problem of permissions.

Hello,
I'm trying to get the plugin working on a minimal fedora 22 distrib (no
GUI, basic installation) and CCRMA kernel installation. I meet the Error
loading CD index - (-1) No CD in drive' issue.
The drive is well seen by the plugin as shown in the log below. Any idea
where this could come fr
