DASHed FLAC is working with me as well - without any delay problems.
LMS 7.9.0 via Max2Play on a RI2 in the UK with a 38Mbits broadband
connection.
I will try and listen to find out whether I can identify any musical
impact.

I left my Touch running on Radio 3 flac, 2 minute delay, for 2.5 hours.
All went well (I wasn't listening much since that's a time of day when I
have to attend to other people!). It also seems OK thus far on 1 minute
delay.

I think the BBC is really biased to Mac (especially mobile, their IOS
app requires v9, or something) and has been driving browser based
streaming for ages.

Which thread would you like the flac comments to be on - this or 3.5.2?
Anyway, I've had some strange happenings with the delay time. 1 minute
doesn't seem to work - it started saying it had a 1 minute delay, then
quickly reverted to the program title without the delay, and then
stopped playing
Working here too. UK and LMS on Windows 7.

I am not familiar with the content sent by Tidal and Qobuz but I suspect
they play "tracks" which are essentially flac files. The BBC is
streaming a live stream which is one continuous infinite flac file wher

Qobuz also stream flac, so it's clearly do-able (but I've no idea how).

LMS uses AnyyEVent for DNS resolution.
BBCiPlayer plugtin DASH 1.5.* uses an AnyEvent module to do HTTP
AnyEvent on LMS - it is setup to try to use both ipv4 and ipv6 but try
ipv4 before ipv6
LMS has its own HTTP implementation - not sure how it handles ipv4 vs
ipv6. The BBciPlayer plugin uses

OK.
It did seem to be working well, as I had been trying The BBC Radio 2
Live stream for about an hour, with no problems. Then I decided to try
the BBC London Live stream, and it wouldn't start. So I went back to
Radio 2 but that wouldn't start either.
I'm now using IPlayer 1.5.2, running on Ubu

I suspect 32kbps is a typo for 320kbps ie. the '0' got missed. Just a
guess.
