an issue between the driver and portaudio.

unexpected results. Running "squeezelite-win.exe -o 21 -s kraken -a 50:1
-a 24 -u v" produces audio that matches the Windows driver settings. If

The permission and ownerships for the devices in /dev/snd are setup when
a USB device is inserted and recognised.
This means if during testing you remove USB DAC and plug it in again -
you'll need to change device permissions. Not sure about system
restart/reboot.

That is something to do with your LMS setup then - another issue for
another thread.
First thing to do is get libraries working on the NAS squeezelite so

Yes, it plays and I can hear it. Using LMS on the NAS.
It is flac, but it is converted to AIFF, for some reason.

streamed (i.e no transcoding or down resampling). So squeezelite has to
be able to play the files natively.

I can't test with LMS, since it reports that Squeezelite is not running.
