Use select outside area so that you select the new components only. This way
you wont upset the polygon.
I don't know about the increment parameter though.

Alfonzo,
In Protel 99SE, it is advised to add no punctuation to any of your
files, folders or databases.
Altium does not mention this in the technical notes, but I have
experienced the same issue you describe.

Peter,
Try the PEDA list-server at techservinc.com , more people hang out there.
If you can't find an off the shelf TO-220 V, then you'll have to draw one
yourself, its very, very easy. Especially if you have the manufacturers
drawings to hand.
One thing to note, however.

I may misunderstand here but:
Turn off the "Group parts together if matched by:" and it will annotate

Whenever I need to always group multipart components I always add

I think that you have largely identified the main problem yourself. When I
read your description below, you seem to be saying that on identical or nearly
identical circuits, only the bottom side components tombstone. You also seem to

Jami,
thanks for the thoughts but I really don't believe your issue is related. I have
modified the manner in which I annotate this schematic and proven my own suspicions
that it was matching the part type fields to obtain an annotation order for parts that
were not multi-parts.

This might be common knowledge but recently I moved all of my protel 99SE
project files to a new folder and I couldn't open any of them.
Depending on wether the project was a database or just stored as files, was
the type of error received.
If I was trying to open a database project, it came up wi
