[PEDA] 99SE path names

This might be common knowledge but recently I moved all of my protel 99SE project files to a new folder and I couldn't open any of them. Depending on wether the project was a database or just stored as files, was the type of error received. If I was trying to open a database project, it came up wi

Jami, thanks for the thoughts but I really don't believe your issue is related. I have modified the manner in which I annotate this schematic and proven my own suspicions that it was matching the part type fields to obtain an annotation order for parts that were not multi-parts. Note that fr

Luo, I think that you have largely identified the main problem yourself. When I read your description below, you seem to be saying that on identical or nearly identical circuits, only the bottom side components tombstone. You also seem to indicate that the tombstoning occurs only after t

Brad, I may misunderstand here but: Turn off the "Group parts together if matched by:" and it will annotate directly in position order as you wish and not group together eg 10k 0402. Whenever I need to always group multipart components I always add another comment to the user fields and group b

Peter, Try the PEDA list-server at techservinc.com , more people hang out there. If you can't find an off the shelf TO-220 V, then you'll have to draw one yourself, its very, very easy. Especially if you have the manufacturers drawings to hand. One thing to note, however. If you are running

[PEDA] Unexpected component placement during pcb update

Usually, when I add a few components to the schematic, and update the pcb, the components are placed in a horizontal row starting at the lower right corner of the board. Today, it (99se, sp6) started placing them in a vertical column, with negative 300 mil increment! My board origin (LL corner)

Alfonzo, In Protel 99SE, it is advised to add no punctuation to any of your files, folders or databases. Altium does not mention this in the technical notes, but I have experienced the same issue you describe. = Richard J. "Rick" Wilson Owner - President PROTT

Richard Use select outside area so that you select the new components only. This way you wont upset the polygon. I don't know about the increment parameter though. Ian Capps - Original Message - From: "Richard Sumner" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Protel EDA Forum" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: F
