With the second screen enabled on Minerva, the System Variables are
moved from $28000 to $3 or higher. But since there is a QDOS Trap:
MT.INF to locate the System Variables then it should not be a problem.
Well that was the theory, because alot of older programs assumed that

You need to read the PTH documentation on C68 Documentation Disk 2/2
Phil Borman went to great length to document his software.

Phil,
The Amiga already has a QL Emulator, which is free, but is not SMSQ/E,
but QDOS.

Dave,
I thought that the syntax was:
EX cc,#chan;'hello_c -v -o hello.exe -lm'
Where
-v is verbose mode, I like to see all the messages from the compiler
-o defines the output program name, if not defined then the output
program is called a_out
-lm is link modules
#chan is an optional output c
I send the Qubide source code to Dilwyn for download on his web site.
Phil Borman, Ron Dunnett gave permission for the Qubide source to be
freely available under the GPL Licence.

Which is better Minerva or SMSQ/E...
I would say SMSQ/E is more up to date.

I am looking for a Thor Service/Technical Manual to build up a Thor 1
I have Case (minus PSU) expansion board, rom expansion baord. Just need
a QL board and PSU to complete it.
I have a working QL board that could be used, but there maybe some
modification to the board.

I have tried many zipped up files with Info unzip v5.4 using the extract
directory to be ram1_ with:
-dram1_ and -d ram1_
both work.
But if you read the manual, it does say: -d exdir
So I suspect the manual is correct.

Dilwyn,
Have you tried other versions of SMSQ/E, to see if there is a undetected
problem in the operating system.

I have a Microvitec Cub 1431MB monitor, which I would like to use with a
Sinclair QL.
Does anyone know the video connections on the Microvitec Cub 1431MB monitor,
which hasa 7 Pin DIN (270 deg) video socket on the back of the monitor.
I have the connections on QL from the QL User manual.

According to my Trump card manual, the syntax is:
FORMAT ram1_mdv1
no underscore on the mdv1 or mdv2 device. Or maybe it does not matter...
semantics are always difficult get right.
