If I may. If this issue was an automobile, a dealer would hook up the
auto to a computer to analyze the issue. Electric wheelchairs users and
dealers don't have that issue. But each chair has a control module that directs
energy to each motor, from the energy of the combined batteries,

I had the same problem last year beginning in March. The batteries were
replaced 4 times. After asking in May to replace anything relating to

Batteries are all 12 volts. Their amperage will vary from 15 amps, 35 amps,
55 amp and 75 amp, but they are all 12 volts. That is why most chairs
have 2 batteries to provide 24 volts.

It could be the quality of the batteries. It could be a motor issue. The
motor is made up of a gear unit and magnet brake combo. It could be a bad
control module, It could be a bad head (joystick). Each item or items has
to be evaluated for integrity.

Are they gel and how old? If they're gel they'll start to form crystals if
it sits for long periods of time while not being in use or on the charger
according to the my local chair company. When mine did it said it was 100%
but died within 15 minutes of use kind of like you're describing.

Funny you should mention this. A couple months ago I got a new set
of batteries in my chair and I told the tech from National Seating

crap compared to the batteries that came with the chair. He told me

Does anybody here have a battery disconnect switch
Battery disconnect switches have been around for decades. The big box
stores like Auto Zone, Murrays, Advanced Auto and a few others will carry the
basic switch, with a green or black knob at the top. Hot Rods used them for
thief protection as the knob would screw to disconnect the battery,

There are three types of batteries you can use
1) Sealed gel which is most expensive
2) Sealed lead acid which work good but you cant fly with them, battery stores
