I bought out of pocket in March from a battery supply business and they covered
2nd set in June/July but said it had to be my chair. DME came out in July and
was suppose to order new batteries
them to fix my chair since July.

you with vented lead acid batteries, let the manufacturer know using your
vin or serial number of your chair. Make sure that lead-acid batteries do
not void any manufacturer warranty.

I'm in almost the same exact situation as you Greg...I have a meeting tomorrow
with my medical supplier to help with trying to get a new chair...mine is over
7 years old and losing power just like yours...i used to get about 8 miles also
when I had the jell type batteries my chair originally cam

Was he a truck driver or a certified mobility tech? There are some simple
test that be performed with a multi-volt tester and a coiled load tester.
Just make sure that your insurance carrier doesn't pay for an evaluation,
using a truck driver instead of a certified tech.
