Hi All:
Just my 2-cents worth as I have disaster experience, run command on copy of
database or add AND LIMIT = 1 to see the effect of the UPDATE command on the
first row before committing the whole table…
Happy New Year everybody!

There is a sample form made up of MDI forms which open in turn and all close
together. I've been looking for that sample form name all day but can't seem
to find it. It's either a 7.5 or 9.1 sample. I used it successfully to build
a screen made up of 8 different small forms and it functioned

Thank you Razzak. I don't have a single computed column so that was a very
short list.
I must be doing something wrong. I'll retrace all my steps
Jan,
Have you tried:
Set var vfiletodelete =
‘\\myuncdrive\deletethisfile.pdf’
Delete .vfiletodelete

Then, compare the length of those computed TEXT expressions versus the actual
length of TEXT column.
Hope that helps!

Hello all,
I have a conundrum. On several fields with varying TEXT lengths defined in
tables, I get a "FIELD WILL BE TRUNCATED" when I run my backup file. However,
when in the forms where these fields are created, it is not possible to enter
more characters than are defined for the field...
I have one of those too!
Good time to ask, what to do with shelf full of old R:BASE books and drawers
full of old CDs?

Claudine, if vcamt includes 10% GST it is 110% of the invoice, so the GST is
vacamt/11 = 10%

Only thing I see is missing DEFAULT and BREAK before ENDSW. But I don’t
understand SET VAR vgst = (.vcamt/11) as calculating 10%... And clearly your
INSERT needs a WHERE clause.

Claudine,
In addition to Buddy's observation, you may pre-define the vValue as NOTE or
VARCHAR data type.
