I just got over the bug myself. Fortunately neither of my kids got it (knock on wood). I took CS continually throughout the duration of it, however, the first day I drank very little water because of the stomach cramps. It went away in 48 hours, so I don't know if that was the life of the bug

Definitely sounds like you have plantar fasciitis. I had it a few years ago. It felt just like a stone bruise in the heel. I got rid of it by never going barefoot. As soon as I got up in the morning, I put on jogging shoes with good support. It went in a few weeks and has never come back. I

Your plan sounds good to me. There is very little probability that you will do any harm. One thing to consider; add 10 % DMSO to help penetrate. Yes the CS will kill the friendly flora. Some use Yogurt after treatment to restore. The DMSO will create an unappetizing odor during treatment.
