I'm trying to upload the original cue file, as I was asked to, but the
Attachments Manager does not allow it. It claims it's not a valid file.

OK, a PC reboot got things back on line.
Just a question which might be important. To save the cue using Notepad,
should I save it encoding as ANSI or what? That might be important.

As I was away for a few hours, just now can I try the promising things

The first I did was using the cue file JohnB rewrote, making a new cue
file, that I put on the original album menu, moving the original cue to
a folder. Then rescannned.

Various people have said that you can't play the cue file from the Music
Folder. Perhaps I am mistaken but I think that used to be the case but
it was was fixed some time again. I can certainly do it with wav+cue
files using LMS 7.9.2.

Added white spaces, as per cue file conventions. (I assume these were
automatically removed when carlmart posted it to the forum).
Applied the cue file to a 16/44.1 wave file of mine.

The cue file opens the wav file perfectly in VLC, but it doesn't open it

Did you initiate another scan after you copied in the wav/cue ?
If your existing .cue files had no effect then you would not have seen
the individual track names.

If your response was pointing at my request for photos, the reason I ask
is because all photos on the web-page shows the RPi3 with the Ethernet
port on the specific side, whereas, as I hope is commonly known, the
RPi4 has the position of the USB and Ethernet ports switched around.

and in VLC choose Tools/Codec Information and then post here what VLC
says about the file?

09:08:10 on a HP Proliant Micro Server Windows Home Server 2011 machine.

(server.log and scanner.log).
But LMS refuses to play those large wav files with the tracks inside.

file names are or even that there are .cue files
