My server reboots itself weekly using a script that deletes this file.
Easy way to force a full library rebuild. I've never noticed any ill

There are plugins to create and use custom tags; take a look at Custom
Scan and Custom Browse. You'd need to measure your files and create DR
values using other software (foobar2000 with optional "Dynamic Range
Meter" component can do it), then store this value in a custom file tag.

My guess is that LMS was not designed with the "multiple-file cue" use
case in mind. (I'd never heard of it until you brought it up.) You'll
need to convert these to standard "one image + one cue" format.
foobar2000 can help with this: 1. load the original cue sheet; 2. set
converter for FLAC
If you install "Server Power Control" plugin it allows custom CLI
commands to do this. You can also do it with a batch file. More to

Starting this morning I can't go more than a few minutes before losing
connection. Happens on radio stations and Pandora. Sometimes it

Does the scan always fail at the same place ("5730 of 20438")? If so,
could be a problem with a file name or tags.
If I were trying to solve this, I'd load all my files into Mp3tag and
rewrite the tags: just drag all files onto Mp3tag main window, wait for

Click Start, type and select "uninstall a program". Isn't LMS on the
resulting list?
Alternatively, type and select "services". Scroll to LMS and set it for
"Disabled". Remove "Tray Tool" from your Startup program group.
FLAC comments also do this. After a "new/changed" rescan the LMS
database shows -both- comments rather than just the original one
updated. Database rebuild fixes the problem.

I downloaded a Springsteen concert in MP3 and it played gapless in
foobar2000, but there were gaps playing back on my Touch. Ok,
downloaded the show again in FLAC and converted to LAME 320 myself: same
result. Did some further research and found that any MP3 files sampled
at 48kHz no longer

boot I had. Maybe mine was a later generation than yours.

Yes, this sometimes happens depending on which tags you change. A way
to avoid it is to re-save ALL of the files from that album in Mp3tag:
open all files in folder, make your edits, then highlight all files and
save. A "New/Changed" rescan will then re-index them all and you
shouldn't get two

You might try using NSSM to run Squeezelite as a service, if
Squeezelite-X is not working for you.
The only complexity about it is that you need to specify the audio
