is there a minor chance to enhance the Smart Crossfade to exclude some
genres like Audiobook or Speech from Crossfading?

please dont mix new stuff like your Version of Ubuntu and old Versions
like lms 7.7.5.
LMS has its own Webserver you didnt need Apache for that.
remove the old lms and your modifications on apache2.conf.
(There must be some other mods that you didnt post, cause apache never
uses port 9000

The other way from a sampler to a non sampler is not really detected.

most of the Plugins are plugins that cant be removed (greyed out) so
there is no reason to grey them out or list them - cause they are not
really "plugins" anymore [you cant plugout them] ;)
Just take a look @your plugins Folder - most of them are there - even
when not listed anymore.
Where is lms installed? On this device?
7.8 is known as kind of buggy (try at least LMS 7.8.1 or 7.9)
The Hard but may fastet way is to stop lms delete the cache folder and
restart lms again.
May your out of diskspace or Memory on the Server?
Did you check the logfiles already?

i dont trust nobody who tags Files.
I always check the Tags before i update my Library.
Some wrote Martin L. Gore into Composertag, some M. Gore, some others
Martin Gore - its always the same Guy so i always use "my" Type of Name
for this Contributor.
And others like me would like to see
- what versions of lms?
- webgui or an the player?
(its a single click not a double klick)
- which player?
- any fancy specials for that player?
The normal behaviour is prev. track if pressed when the song is <10 sec
- if pressed later -> the same song should restart again.

thats is a clear "fail" caused by using the artistsort tag.
Once i wrote something for another user to find that file with that tag
but i cant remember that.

Windoze do make sometimes very nice things - I just want to know what
the scanner puts into the db the longish pathnames or the 8.3 Versions.
