I personally have no clue why VA tagged Album Artist causes the

Ah, no I had not. With a full wipe/rescan, the spamming has subsided.
Does this seem like something that should be addressed, since I'm sure
at least some users have Album Artist = Various Artists (perhaps even
unknowingly)?

It's probably a macOS LMS server-specific issue then.

I'm posting this issue as a new thread to avoid (further) hijacking the

The basic issue is that I believe Albums are not getting placed

the dialog appears only on boot. This time, I got the same dialog about

Today's been off to a hellish start, I'm a bit overwhelmed a.t.m, and
I'll admit up front I'm being a bit lazy by asking w/out doing much

What's the easiest way to move my LMS server from one Mac to another.
I'd like all the settings, plug-ins, etc. to carry forward.
LMS 7.9.2.
The "installer" program is generically named, and makes certain dialogs,
such as:
29079
less than obvious. Can the name of this program be updated to reflect
that it is an LMS installer? There are other dialogs that show its name
too, btw.
See the conversation above with michael and myself, regarding
drag-n-drop and perl5.18. That resolved the issue for me of LMS not
starting upon reboot.
I just tested it again, and I no longer have the issue. My system loads
a fair number of things upon login, so I had to wait a minute or so

The full details of the requirements are now clearer. The problem is
