Hi,
you might want to have a look at the brake gap calculation in
src/microsim/cfmodels/MSCFModel.h. This is probably different from what
IDM usually does, although I would consider this a bug in sumo, I think
it was necessary to implement it this way because IDM had severe
problems in stopping to

Hi,
it is indeed a bug and tracked here:
http://sumo.dlr.de/trac.wsgi/ticket/2321 For a workaround make sure the
positions are not matched to junction internal edges by doing the

Hi Roozbeh,
I am not sure whether I understand your question correctly but for
finding the closest lane to some existing coordinates you can use
sumolib:
http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tools/Sumolib#locate_nearby_edges_based_on_the_geo-coordinate.
The example on the web page uses getNeighboringEdges but
Hi,
telling from the ticket http://sumo.dlr.de/trac.wsgi/ticket/1459 it is
not very high priority especially because no one in the core team uses
the C++ client regularly and even the python client is far from complete
concerning pedestrians. So we are happily accepting patches which should
not be
Hi Caner,
did you try the options --sidewalks.guess and --crossings.guess?
Giving both to a multilane + junction created good pedestrian crossings
here.
It might also be easier to do it with netedit.

Michael

Hi Fátima,
there is a --period parameter to randomTrips.py which is the inverse of
the rate. Setting it to 0.1 will generate 10 vehicles per second.

Dear friends and users,
the conference program for the fourth edition of the SUMO conference
taking place from 23rd to 25th of May 2016 is online at
http://sumo.dlr.de/2016/.
We have a great program ranging from simulated bikers and pedestrians to
vehicle automation and parallel simulation and
Hi Caner Ipek,
it is a bug, it is already fixed in the recent svn. You may retry
(tomorrow) with a nightly build, if you wish.
Thanks for pointing it out,
Michael
