? The install.rdf files in the modern xpi are identical. Is it able to be removed via the Add-ons screen? If so, it may have some how been manually installed from the previous version 2.6.0. of buttons from which you can choose to drag-and-drop onto a toolbar. One of those buttons should be Go which you can click after entering a URL. As an aside, you can also choose to drag-and-drop buttons that you may not use back into the Customize panel to reduce unused clutter. -- Sailfish
