Actually, Karl, you were close. It wasn't one of the Amber* RPGs (which I'd
love to get, no matter the language!) or the Arkania saga, of which I
really prefer the US version because I don't (yet) understand too much of
german and I really like the saga. It was actually Legend of Faerghail,
