I've notice when using the BookShare.org site the following behaviour
happens more often than not.
Windows 8.1 WE 9.2 and IE 11.
Automatic browse mode is turned off.
When I land on the search edit field and press enter IE will often stop
responding.

I cannot duplicate this behaviour consistently. Sometimes when I press the
read current line hot key when composing a message, Window-Eyes doesn't read
the last few words of the line. I know they are there, because I can
backspace or use the arrow keys to read the
The easiest way is to do control 3 that will get you into contacts list view
and then you have to either arrow through your contacts or do first letter
navigation. Its up to you on which one but that's the process for outlook

If you have the IE Enhance app the notification bar progress can speak
automatically, use tones, or both.
Open the Window-Eyes control panel, Alt-A Apps, arrow up to IE Enhance
options, right arrow to open it, and again on Notification bar options.

I asked Cortana to sound an alarm, and the system did with 2
consequences; (1) the sound for Window-Eyes speech went way down, and
(2) I could not find where to stop the alarm sound.
Is there a hot key? :)

Hi, everytime I use ie the speech cuts off at times - I was
trying to buy something and I pressed the button pay now and
the speech died - I've left the machine on (my pc I mean as I'm
using my Braillenote (latest machine) to write this email.

Then it must be some settings in IE itself. The plugins, the addons or even
the security zone itself.
Can't really tell the exact settings to change because its not happening here
or you know whats change to begin with. Could be anything, java script.

Ivona, Cepstral and cereproc all have 64 bit voices and they work with the SAPI

If you had 3 downloads in progress and tried for a fourth, that is the
problem. BARD only allows 3 simultaneous downloads.
As another list member mentioned, you can open up the IE downloads dialog.
Alternatively, if you don't need spoken progress notifications, you can hear
the download progress
