-eyes 9.5 not reading with Thunderbird
So, just so we can get things back to the original reason why I wrote
the email in the first place, I'm really happy to say that re-installing
the default apps and set files did the trick, and now Thunderbird works
again on the Windows 7 machine it wasn't
Do you think doing that would possibly take care of the problem I am having
where it doesn't track certain emails correctly? Pam.

Orlando,
I have no idea why, but for some reason the video hooking errors have
been common with insider builds since Windows 10 was released. Hopefully
the final release will once again work fine.

I've notice that this video driver problem is intermittent. It is
certainly disconcerting when it happens, because that means that I have
to restart, and hope that it will be the charm.

All I know is that the last four Windows 10 insider previews and the
latest Creator Edition produce video errors each time Window-eyes
launches,

I uninstalled, then reinstalled Window-Eyes, and everything worked as
normal. Updating the app or the sets files didn't work, so I did the
"brute force" method.--Matthew Chao

That totally makes sense, because all other screenreaders I
have on all my computers i.e. JAWS, NVDA both read the list of messages
propperly. One might ask why not just use those if it gets the job
done? My answer? Old habbits die hard. You like the way a certain

Hello. I
Window Eyes still does everything I need it to do and probably will
quite a way in the future. The issue with reading or not reading emails
in ThunderBird is not a Window Eyes issue. It is, or was a script in
ThunderBird. Bugs can happen with any program as we all know.
Cheers.
Ian
But in the meantime, it is still a firstclass screenreader which works
incredibly well!

As stated previous there will be issues with window eyes as programs and the
windows operating system gets updates. It will not be fixed.

Hello. I am not having the same issue but there has been a recent
ThunderBird update. The result of the update was that in order to read
emails as usual, it was necessary to tab through all the fields until I
was able to read. It was as if Window Eyes and ThunderBird were out of
focus.
Hmmm, I think a re-install of thunderbird might
be the thing to do here, because all the correct set files are loaded,
and everything with the scripts are working normally. H.
Thanks for the quick response!

Things to try.
Check which set file is loaded.
Unload and then reload WE and see what happens.
