Hi,
I have used the LPI Base Map to add rest areas in NSW.
Halfway through this I though on my personal preferences for rests areas;
a toilet
separation from the road - by distance and/or trees
shelter - more trees?
So I have added those features from that point on, using imagery. Some

Yeah, there isn't any way too fix it short of an admin manually changing
the database and that isn't going to happen for something like this.
Commenting on the changesets is probably reasonable.

Isn’t the easiest thing here to just comment on each changeset with the
explanation? I have done this when I put an obviously wrong comment in a
changeset.

Hi
Alt_name is used for an alternative *official* name, such as a different
spelling etc.
In this case loc_name appears more appropriate to me.

Hi,
Possibly JOSM does. I used iD for this simple change. Whilst alt_name does
seem odd, so would loc_name, so I thought it to be the better of two
options.. If there's a consensus in favour of changing I'll happily do so.

Hi,
So that map users aren't confused by directions using non-existant names,
I've changed the Walton Summit example from name to alt_name and added a
note to explain. I have also changed the section of the M6 labelled
"Preston By-Pass" from name to old_name.

Yep, you can. Spacebar+mouseclick. But there is no Imagery Offset Database
[1] plugin for either iD or Potlatch, so in that way JOSM can be superior
in some situations.
Both iD and Potlatch are fed

De presets van JOSM zijn niet aangepast per land, dus ja het zou

De vertaling aanpassen is misschien ook lastig, als ze in Nederland
