I love the new option for Dark Mode, but...
I just tried printing a plain text email from Dark Mode
for the first time and I was surprised to find that the
entire body of the message is MISSING from the printout!
Then I realized that it was there, just printed in WHITE
just like it is shown on
I'm not sure how many versions back this happened, but the drop
list associated with the "Create a New Message" button on the
toolbar is broken.
OK, it may actually be intentionally using a bad design choice,
but for me the drop list has been unusable since 9.0.16 (and
maybe earlier.) It was

Up and running. Dialogs still appear in strange places (often
straddling the top edge) of screens in my multi-monitor setup.

Lüko,
That's a nice idea, too, but at a MINIMUM, dialogs should
NEVER appear OFF SCREEN -- not even partially.
It would also be good if their appearance were consistent
instead of different methods/rules for different dialogs.
Inconsistency is very confusing.

My final addendum (unless someone requests more tests):
I just repeated all of the things I reported using the current
beta version, just so no one starts by claiming "it's fixed in

It is not.

I have discovered a bit more about this behavior...
For reference, my screens are in this pattern, with screen 3

Never mind... As I was typing, I think I discovered
my problem: There are TOO MANY places where a sound

one of them (folder properties|sound) is not at all

1. The account-wide new mail sound plays even when it is
DISABLED -- *IF* a filter is configured to play a sound
(even a different sound).
Workaround: Create a sound of silence.wav file and
configure it as the disabled account-wide

1. It would be really great if a filter action could be
that it *DOES NOT* play /any/ sound -- even if the
mail arrival sound for the account is enabled.
2. In order to simulate #1, I had turned OFF the mail
arrival sound for my account and set all of the filters
that weren't

Nope. 3.51.3 didn't change the search behavior for me.

It seems that TheBat! is getting confused by one of the

causing TB to get stuck?
