been able to pin it down as to whether or not it may only be shutting down and
opening the program, changing login profiles or rebooting

quick filter does not work for any of the predefined settings. The advanced
filter works, but there is some strange behavior if you try to delete a block

ok, turns out it had just been a fluke: Virtual Folders are unreliable
as ever, currently there are even some messages showing up as unread
in the VF that are no longer in the shadowed folder (which has been
compacted) at all.

Agreed. All the issues I see on this list worked fine in release 4.
Release 5 should have never gone out the door. It

since a lot of Versions, i see that MsgCounts in Subfolders of Common
Virtual Folders are not updated - you have to do a manual Refresh.

I have encountered a huge bug in virtual folders. Can't say from which
version it exists, but until recently everything seemed to be fine.
The problem is that folders watched by virtual folders are taken from
wrong account.
Suppose I have two accounts one of which contains virtual

TB doesn't memorize the last position in Virtual Folders. Reproducable:
- create a virtual folder that only contains flagged messages
- Select a message in this Virtual Folder
- Select a different folder, and select a non-flagged message there
- Select virtual folder again

Virtual Subfolders are not refreshed,
where i see unread Messages in Subfolders, they are already read in
Mainfolder - this did not happen to be recently
If i mark 1 Message Read in Subfolder and mark Unread again, it appears
in Main Folder - as expected.

after moving Messages from Common Virtual Folder to other Folder, i got
2 Zombie Messages, which show up No Messages loaded when selected and
could not be copied, moved, deleted in any way.
Database reorg didn't help, manual refreshing the Folder with Refresh
did help

are applied to. Refresh only works from the context menu, ctrl+R or
ESC don't work any more. Auto-refresh doesn't work either. Only here?
