little time setting up The Bats filters. The end result is effective
spam filtering with only one program ... your e-mail program. The
Bat's backup facility allows you to save everything easily. Who could
ask for more?

a short time I'd say it catches 99% of the spam. I average
between 35-40 spam messages/day, so this freeware tool is quite
helpful to me.
Like you, I do report all spam to SpamCop. I don't know why. It
doesn't cut down on the amount of spam, but somehow I feel better
doing something. :)

I wish that The Bat! could optionally save decrypted pgp messages
while keeping the original kludges.
Does anyone have a macro that can do this or something similar?

Ah, I think I understand now. So I needn't worry which machine I
download mail with as long as I synchronize periodically. Thanks for
the explanation.

to synchronize fully I must
initiate the synchronise from the notebook then when done initiate it
again from the desktop.
After doing the above, most of the accounts on each system have the
same number of messages. The are a couple that are off by 2 or 3
messages. I wonder why that is?

certificates. Your issuer's certificate should be listed
PM there along with your own.

the others. The strange thing is they are all issued from the same
source at the same time.

Body information, a copy of Melissa's public key will
automatically be e-mailed to the requester in a message from her gmx
e-mail account.
The only keys available here are Melissa's not those of others like a
typical keyserver.
