Got it. Thank you! It looks like that if FF uses a short cut, FF intercepts that key combination first before TW gets it, so many key combinations for TW do not work in FF like: ^L (go to location bar), ^-shift-I (opens browser inspector window), ^-shift-P (opens private browsing window).
