Hi Leo,
If nothing works, try the manual approach that always works:
1) Go to http://www.tiddlytools.com/#PreviewPlugin
2) Click 'view' on the toolbar of the PreviewPlugin
3) Select ALL text (Ctrl-A) and copy (Ctrl-C) and paste it (Ctrl-V) to a
tiddler tittled PreviewPlugin in your TW.
4) Tag it

For answering a question about a readonly TW [1], I stripped my toolbar

Hi DaComboMan,
The simplest solution is:
1) Click the Options/Control panel icon (gear in Sidebar = right panel).
2) Select tab Theme Tweaks
3) Adjust 'Story right' to your liking, from 770px (default) to e.g. 870px
4) Adjust 'Tiddler width' width the same amount as in step 3) (100px) =

Hi Stephan,
I had a comparable experience, see [1]
I now upload the first time with Crome. After that I can save with Firefox.

Ton

Hi Josh,
Glad it worked. I also use the standalone version you mention (How to use
TiddlyWiki5 as a standalone HTML file with TiddlyFox, step 1).
As soon as the PageTemplate does not create a Javascript error anymore when
trying to adjust it (alpha15 I hope), you can add the "T" button over ther
Hi Jerry,
I should say: Just start using it, that is the best way to learn.
If you can enter text, add tags, and can save it, you know the basic
functionality of TW5 and you can use it as a personal notebook.
Dave Gifford's mall [1] gives practical information for newbies.

@Jeremy,
I think every change to $:/core/ui/PageTemplate gives the error.
E.g. adding an extra newline at the end of the PageTemplate gives the same
error.

Hi Josh,
I tried adding a button to the $:/core/ui/PageTemplate but got a Javascript
error (see [1]).
As a workaround you can add a button to the tiddler toolbar.
Create a tiddler MyTaskSkeletonTiddler tagged with task.
Open $:/core/ui/ViewTemplate/title
The button definitions are shown here:

Hi Bob,
I got an error when looking at your TiddlySpot site:

No idea why (I'am not a programmer).
Impressive what you have done with a theme so far. You did more than I did
to create my 'Hidden sidebar' theme ;)
I do like the 'Close other tiddlers' butt
Hi all,
I noticed strange behavior when adding tags in alpha13 and 14: when
clicking the down arrow an empty line appears instead of a list of
available tags.
In alpha10 the list was (and still is) shown.
But with alpha10 at TiddlySpot also an empty line!
I tested this with Firefox 24 and Chrome
Hi Dave,
May be not the way to do it, but it works ;)
Just setting start and end color the same. See

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the help.
My top menu with toolbar is now working again in TW5alpha13 and the updated
guide is available in my Dropbox (links to it from TW5 & Dave's mall).
I had to "repair" my Hidden sidebar theme by replacing 'storyriver width'
by 'tw-tiddler-frame width' to increase th
Hi Jeremy,
It must be nice to have the refactoring done.
I am very pleased with the clone tiddler possibility and the tabs macro. I
hope to make much use of it.
But first I have to look at the new documentation; especially about the
widgets. Up till now I just copied/pasted code; I hope to be ab

Hi Anton,
Sorry I meant "add ... to your SiteSubTitle" and NOT SiteTitle. Otherwise
you get a "double" set of arrows caused by the "shadow" definition in the
PageTemplate.

Hi Anton,
AFAIK Eric's bookmarklets are for use in the browser (as
favourites/bookmarks).
Why not use Eric's ToggleLeftSidebar and ToggleRightSidebar?
Then you can add <> and <> to e.g.
your SiteTitle.
Cheers,
