Thanks Guido.
Will I be able toplay 24/96 via USB/EDO this way?
I cannot connecting Vlink directly to the Touch.
thanks.
Fantastic work Triode.
Good man!
I have a Vlink usb/spdif adapter.
i tried plugging Touch usb into that, then into my Dac via coax but the
Touch said Cannot connect Dac or something...
Can the Vlink be used in this way with EDO Touch usb mod?
thanks.
I had thought maybe using SOX to automatically downsample 24/96 to 16/44
might do the trick, no no luck.
I'm, guessing the EDO process happens and is output via USB to the DAc
before SOX has a chance to downsample.
Would this seem right?
My Dac only does 16/44 over USB.
Was trying to get the Touch to downsample my hires stuff to 16/44 so the
tracks can be played over usb/edo mod.

thanks for the reply.
I'm using the latest software (7.2.2 is it?) and I've set Flac to be
decoded on the server rather than native on the Touch.
I have another dac I can hook my Touch up to and try that to compare.
I've asked too elsewhere if the Dac usb does do 24/96.
thanks.
I could make downsampled copies of the files I suppose using Jriver or
foobar or whatever, but kinda takes the fun out of it
damn, I have a lot of hires stuff and it would sound great through usb.
