Hello, and please forgive me for not wanting to read through all 359
pages to make sure my question hasn't been covered.
I installed Local Player via the LMS Web interface on my PC, which is
what I use to control LMS. But LMS itself is in fact installed on a
Wandboard Quad (and works fine). But
I now have setup a Pi3+ and now 192kHz is working as expected. So it
seems a Pi4/4GB problem...

Your DAC simply doesn't have HW VC as your printout shows.
alsamixer is useless at that point.
that's why all the squeezelite related HW VC settings are also useless.
Only SW control is left. If locked on LMS it'll be bitperfect.

Yes already did that, but i thought it was more a client trick than a
source solution.
If my alsa mixer is setup to 90% and i use the 100% LMS solution this
mean iam at 100% of the 90 % right ?

I have recreated a library with .ogg files from my main set of .flac
files.
Using the oggenc from the vorbis-tools extension, and a some scripts
from chilll.
The files play without issue's, on all players in my house, also when
synchronised in groups.
