Thanks very much. That helps. I di try copying the contents of the card in WINscp one time. Besides taking forever, some files would not copy. What is the best way to make an image of the card? I have Google'd that subject but haven't come up with anything that really worked. Thanks again for

In my experience over the years, it has ALWAYS been the Power Supply Units. I have bought probably 10 - 15 [ we have over 20 players of sorts]. I only ever had one unit fail (a touch screen, replaced under warranty). You will get 5v under no load, but when the PSU fails it won't supply the

Just to post a final update, I've got everything working nicely. I've used MusicIP to generate a couple large mixes (~4,500 songs) on my PC, and have exported to my RPi/LMS. Dynamic Playlists then uses them based on the moods I'm interested in. I probably still need to get better at how MusicIP

That shows the USB disk where the data is saved is not mounted. Did you change USB keys? We save the UUID of the disk that you setup for LMS, if that UUID is not found, then it stops LMS. Please go to Diagnostics from the main menu, and then Logs..take a look in the boot log.

Can someone confirm - piCorePlayer 3.22 with LMS running on SDCard, is at higher risk of failing if Power is removed? All this talk of backups is getting me worried. If I turn off my WHS and move over to the RPi, I’m worried my aging brain will forget how I got it to work if it later fails.
