sometimes filling out a form I would like to
1) scan the form
2) open a document
3) put the form in the background (as a water mark?)
4) type the answers at the appropriate positions
5) print the whole thing.
I could a imagnie writing a makro for that, or is there faster procedure?

In OO or LO, in the print dialogue, there is a properties button,
and from there, Device tab.
One of the dropdowns there is Language. It defaults to PDF
If you instead select Postscript (Level from driver) then landscape
printing works.
