I think that if you did this, you would always have to insert that style
manually because tables do not have styles.
I always leave a blank line after a table. I suppose that I should give
that line a special style so that it is narrower than usual. Hmm,

OpenOffice can create PDF files from any file it can open, but it is
not a PDF reader.
If you want a paint program I would suggest the Gimp.
