[SOGo] How to understand MaximumRecipientCount
Hi all, Basic question about those 4 parameters SOGoMaximumMessageSubmissionCount="30"; SOGoMaximumRecipientCount="20"; SOGoMaximumSubmissionInterval="30"; SOGoMessageSubmissionBlockInterval="300"; The *blockInterval and *Interval are easy to understand. About the MaximumMessageSubmissionCount and MaximumRecipientCount I'm not sure to very clearly understand what's that mean. When the documentation say Parameter used to control the number of email messages a user can send from SOGo’s web mail interface, to SOGoMaximumRecipientCount , in SOGoMaximumSubmissionInterval etc... what's « number of email messages » ? For example with my 30 and 20, does that mean the user can only send (in the time interval) 30 email to a max of 20 personnes, or that's mean the person can send 30*20 email ? How the Recipient is calculated ? How the SubmissionCount is calulated ? Regards. Wellit's depend how the person manage their mailbox, if this person have many mailbox and only few mail in each mailbox, because dovecot use a list of IMAP UID by mailbox the probability to have same (low) IMAP UID between each mailbox and the draft mailbox is not so small. For example I've a user where the draft mailbox IMAP UID is just reach 50, so the IMAP UID is between 1 -> 50. I count ~ 10 mailbox who the IMAP UID is below 50... This person use lot of attachment . [SOGo] Very big problem with reply with attachment
Hi all, I've got one user who have a very big problem with sogo and reply. When this person answer some email through the sogo webgui and if this email got a attachment then the response got one or many attachment WITHOUT any relation with the original mail. Le me rephrase it...because I can believe it myself... If the person make a reply to mail No X, the pop-up response (and the mail send) containt one or more attachment from mail No Y. The content of the response is correct. I don't find any relation between X and Y. After spend some time I'm sure this problem is not related to the browser or OS. The documents come from the other mailbox but definitivly from the server. I've test more than almost 45 minutes so the bug is real Lucky no confidential document is attached this time . [SOGo] Address book very strange
Hi, It's not exactly a bug but a very strange feature and very inconvenient I only tested in french and english. When I created a new entrie inside the address book, we enter the first name and the last name. Through some nice javascript the displayname is automatically fill with first-name last-name but the list of all address book is sort by using this displayname. So the list is sorted by...first name first and because we got only one column we cannot sort by last-name. I think it's more natural to have 1/ or the displayname fill by last-name first-name 2/ or two columns with first-name | last-name so the user can choose to sort by last-name Regards. [SOGo] Multiple SOGoUsers
Hi all, I would like to known if it's possible to put many SOGoUsers. The reason is : We have let's say ldap-master and ldap-slave1 -> ldap-slave10 I would like to have the ability to put all ldap server in the sogo config. But if I put inside my SOGoUser : hostname = "ldaps://ldap-master.domain.org ldap://ldap-slave1.domain.org etc.."; I don't think that's going to work because I activate the password-change module, and only on the ldap-master the user can change their password. The second reason is I would like to not put inside our sogo-integrator.xpi the master ldap. So I try to do something like SOGoUserSources = ( { CNFieldName = cn; IDFieldName = uid; UIDFieldName = uid; baseDN = bindDN = bindFields = uid; bindPassword = canAuthenticate = YES; displayName = LDAP; hostname = "ldaps://ldap-master.domain.org:636"; id = public; isAddressBook = NO; scope = SUB; }; { CNFieldName = cn; IDFieldName = uid; UIDFieldName = uid; baseDN = bindDN = bindFields = uid; bindPassword = canAuthenticate = YES; displayName = LDAP-Auth; hostname = "ldaps://ldap-slave1.domain.org:636"; id = public-test; isAddressBook = NO; scope = SUB; } { CNFieldName = cn; IDFieldName = uid; UIDFieldName = uid; baseDN = bindDN = bindFields = uid; bindPassword = canAuthenticate = NO; displayName = LDAP-USERS; hostname = "ldaps://ldap-slave2.domain.org:636"; id = public-test; isAddressBook = YES; scope = SUB; } but if I do that sogo complaint at the starting about the configuration. [SOGo] Inviting address pb
Hi, I've got a problem about inviting in a event from Thunderbird+Lightning When Alice create a event and invited Bob, Bob going to received a message like Event Invitation: "New Event" Wonderland Alice(sent by alice.wonderl...@somewhere.com) Start: Friday, December 20, 2013 - 14:00 Europe\/Paris End: Friday, December 20, 2013 - 15:15 Europe\/Paris but the mail comming not from alice.wonderl...@somewhere.com but from al...@somewhere.com (where alice is the login of Alice Wonderland) Inside the calendar file we can see : ORGANIZER;PARTSTAT=ACCEPTED;ROLE=CHAIR;SENT-BY="mailto:alice.wonderl...@somewhere.com";RSVP=TRUE:mailto:al...@somewhere.com On the configuration of the agenda inside Thunderbird we configure the address mail of this agenda as alice.wonderl...@somewhere.com, I didn't event known where Thunderbird/Lightning/Sogo find this address. This behaviour don't appear from when we use the web-gui. No nothing to do but you MUST give some (no...lot) time to time. I mean you must wait long moment (specially when you launch the first time) to make Tbird synchronize all thing. For that you go to «offline» in calendar view, and wait, wait...wait until the little icon on the buttom (at left) go to red meaning you are offline. After that everything works. I'm not going to say it's works very well because for some reason I don't understand that can make Tbird extremely slow. And when you don't use your Tbird during 1 month (for example), you can launch you Tbird, enter you password, and go to Starbuck (sed s/Starbuck/What_you_like) for huge coffee (sed s/coffe/what_you_like). The impression I got (I don't use Tbird) is when you don't have sogo plugin the sync is in background, but after you install sogo plugin the sync is still in background but eat so much resource the Tbird don't answer. [SOGo] COMPLETED in the backup
Hi all, I've some problem with the content of my sogo. For some very stranges reasons I missing plenty of «VTIMEZONE» in the sogo-backup file. So I'm trying to fixe that with python-vobject. But he (python-vobject) say to me the COMPLETED:20110222 is not right time format. He want something like COMPLETED:20100316T184344Z Who right ? SOGo ? or vobject ? At this moment nothing (that's why it's not a urgent problem), but in sometime the purpose of perdition is to «virtualizing» the storage of the mail. Suppose you have to build a mail system for 5000 users with 2 Go for each persons, but you knwon in one-two year it's 10 Go. You can buy a huge servers now for 50-60To but it's very expensive (lot more than two years) or you can buy a smaller server today 10To. But what you going to do in 1 year ? Are you going to just put in trash your 10To ? I'm not. With perdition (or any imap proxy) you can create a map (according what you want) to redirect the imap connection to the right server. For example : if the name match ^[a-i]* go to old server if the name match ^[j-z]* go to second new server. etc... or if the user is student go to old server if the user is staff go to the new server Meaning you can more easily manage you mail storage. Don't known if I answer you question. Regards. [SOGo] SOGo+perdition+Dovecot
Hi all, I've very strange problem with SOGo and perdition (perdition is imap/pop-proxy). Here is the schema : Client (=Thunderbird/Mutt/SOGo) ==> perdition.server ==> Dovecot If the client is Thunderbird/Mutt/AppleMail/etc... every thing work fine. If the client is SOGo and the password match [a-zA-Z0-9]* everything work fine But if the client is SOGo and the password containt some !@#$%&* the authentication don't work.
