accounts are accounted in the usercount output of vdominfo. The weird

vdelivermail uses a funcion called vauth_getpwd() to get the userdetails. This
function is located in the file vauth.c. But this Function ONLY uses the cdb files:

I've seen the same thing happen after using vdeldomain. It changed
permisisons on /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts to 600.

If I check the imapd/current log I see that it tries to chdir to /home/test
After I created the new user skel consisting out of a homedir+maildir I

What version of vpopmail? The defaultdomain file was added somewhere
in the 5.3 series. Be sure to recompile/install Courier-IMAP (if
you're using it) so it can use the new vpopmail code for setting the

It appeared that the daemontools run file was pointing to the wrong
authlib; authshadow while authvchkpw was needed. All is working as expected.
So, every person who was franticly looking for an answer to help me out,

this annoyance. I converted one of our mailserver yesterday to vpopmail 5.4.0 with
mysql-support. Vconvert did a great job and all users where converted to mysql-format
and are working withut any problems.

ldd shows that there is mysql-support linked into vdelivermail. I tested creating of a
new domain .. and then create a new user .. those new users get their mails delivered
... so there needs to be a difference between the imported domains and the new domains
