As much as I like the EPG scan, I usually have it turned off because I think the driver gets rather unstable when VDR often switches channels and maybe hits transponders that don't carry any signal. What's especially unstable is the CAM situation. I have two CAMs in my VDR (connected to budget

Hmmm, is that the right patch that you linked to? It appears to fix an I-frame detection problem and not a picture start code problem. (The patch fails on vdr 1.7.17, but it looks like it belongs inside the if statement for the picture start code [ie. it only executes that code after the start
