did not work. The lever return spring for the lever was broken. I made a spring
and it works now.

line out till the automatic spring is fully wound up. Then
everything locks up. since they don't have slip clutches in them.
That really big fish just keeps on heading down the
od and need a
heavy reel to balance it.
That's what I think they are best used for, balancing heavy fiberglass rods for
bass fishing.
