I've used a program called Cinematize to demux a DVD giving me back
the mpeg2 video and audio files. This isn't the same as the DV
original used to create the mpeg2 files. The mpeg2 video file is

Our research has, so far, led us to the conclusion that only FLV or

Just downloaded the trial of this program and tried it and like it a
lot! This opens up a whole new way for me to archive now! Using the
one-step DVD option of iDVD, you could back up raw footage on a DVD to
edit later. Then you can re-use DV tapes thus saving money! Love it!
