Hi folks - does anybody here use Dreamhost, AND have a drupal site there?
I really need some help with an issue I'm having. Dreamhost has limit of 7mb
for uploads. I find this strange since if you have a wordpress blog on
dreamhost, you can upload any size that you want, but it's probably
This is a great topic. I know absolutely that vlogging has improved
my craft a great deal, and has pushed me to edit way way more, which I
love. But there is an interesting thing that does happen. Recently I
got funding to complete Video Letters From Prison, and as I work on it

Steve,
What you say about value is true - of course if a piece is good, it's
worth lots more than 2 cents. But that's not the point. The point is
- is anybody getting anything for their work? And how do you change
the perception that stuff on the web has worth, and should be paid
for?
That article was excellent. I've been contemplating a technology that
would make all this happen much sooner. Suppose (and I'm sure many
people have) that you had a system where folks could give you a few
cents every time they looked at a video.
Let's say you have a site with 10 videos that
Hi, very nice stuff. I thought it was interesting that you mentioned
that you saved the best stuff for your DVD. I find that a bit
counter-productive. Assuming the reason you are doing a teaser is to
tease people into buying the dvd - then it seems that it would make
more sense to include a

Under 30?? How about if you are over 60? Disgusting, but NPR has

NEUROGENOCIDE - stop the killing
My first video posting on my website was in Feb, 2004 - way behind all
the others that posted on blogs. I didn't have any idea of how to
actually do a blog, but I really wanted to show folks what I was doing
in video, and also needed a place to express myself artistically -
since I had been doing
This notion of making a living doing your VLOG is fascinating, and I
believe - doable. But in order to do it, and still be the creative
person you want to be - I suspect that you really have to think about
different ways of present - or positioning your material. If you use

I got a letter suggesting 3 programs that I thought I would mention -
Anim9tor - Corel's Cool 3D and Dollysoft.
I also found a 2D programt that was actually more of what I had in
mind - it's Toon Boom Studio. It's only $ 149 with an academic
discount, and it really looks good.

Hi, I need to find a simple program to do some very basic 2D

Suggestions?

Hey Rupert, and anybody else,
I've been doing a public service video vlog for 3 years. It's called
RealREZ - http://realrez.com It's a chance to see Indian Country the
way that it really is. Check it out. I hope you like it.

For mounting camera's on dashboards, I guess I would suggest using a
little tiny tripod that is attached to a beadbag. The nice thing
about a bean bag is that it conforms to what it sits on, and IF you
replace the beans (or whatever) with steel shot, then it will be heavy

The Flash meeting last night was really fun. I wasn't able to stay

Hi folks, have any of you (besides Enric) used his VPIP inside a
wordpress blog? I put it up but it seems want to have me save the

Thanks Josh,
I did a little more checking - and heard from Enric. He pointed me to
the installation stuff on his site. BUT then I went to wordpress.com
and discovered that for the FREE wordpress blogs - that is for the the
blogs that have an address such as realrez.wordpress.com - you can't
to avoid all the code of javascript to do some
simple rollover effects.
Thanks,
Milt Lee
Yep - thanks folks - I think I got. The zen garden look is what I was
thinking of.

not be your basic techno-heads either. Just folks that
need an easy way to send some videos without any knowledge of FTP.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
