No. It is up to you to remember to do that from time to time. I clear the app switcher at the end of most days, just to keep it from becoming too cluttered. I've not had performance issues since I have done that. I started being very intentional about clearing it out often about 8 months ago.

Gerardo, If you go to the native Notes app and if you have a Note or Notes in it, you have to open the Note you want to email and then you should have, among, others, a Share button. This should bring up email, Print and Cancel as options. If you use Outlook you can enable syncing Notes in iTunes

I'm curious, what does step 1 do? Is it the case that if you're currently in an app, pressing the home key twice will take you to the App Switcher, but you won't be able to close the app you're in? In playing around with my iPhone, that seems to be the case. I hadn't noticed that before! BTW,
