The record button will only be present in an iMessage conversation. To send
audio via SMS, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way with the Voice Notes
app.

using scrubbing this morning. The slider moves, but playback position remains
constant. The only way I can see to reach a specific point in the book is to
advance down the chapter list until you reach audio
One consolation I've discovered, the app still responds to system-level audio
playback controls, so you can fast forward/rewind using the controls in the app
switcher or by double tapping the home button on the lock screen.
