Hmmm, in iOS 8.??? the app switcher would, depending on configurations in
SETTINGS, display various categories of elements from the CONTACTS to allow
convenient access for making phone calls or messaging. Early Saturday
morning I finally installed a version of iOS 9 -- iOS 9.0.2
There are a few of us that have settings stuck in the app switcher. I think it
is a bug in iOS9.0.1. I am not sure what to say about your quick battery drop
other than when it is below 20% it will go into power saving mode so you can
have more battery until you can charge it.
