I had trouble at first because my ringtones hadn't made it to my new phone.
Once I got them in from my library, everything was fine.
Make sure those ringtones are actually there.

Hmm, interesting. I am using all of the default ringtones with iOS.
Looks like I will be emailing Apple accessibility again, though I'm

I did follow the steps for the custom ringtones. No offense taken
since even the more intermediate/advanced user misses a detail here

tried this with my new iphone 5S (using vo ofcourse) I have a default tone set

A long time ago, I was able to email ringtones. I can't recall the exact
instructions. I believe I just found the file and sent it as an attachment. It
was super easy for the recipient to open the attachment and then it
automatically went into iTunes.

Hi List. I have done something that reset my ringtones and now when I go and
look at my options, some of my paid ringtones are now not there. When I go to
the store and try and download the tone again, it tells me I have already
purchased it but I can't find it lurking anywhere on my phone
time but at least it worked
once.
Interesting to me is the fact that all my contact / custom ringtones used

Recently I shared instructions for creating ringtones in iTunes. After sending
the instructions, I heard back from someone who was told by apple accessibility
that it is no longer possible to create ringtones in this way. When did this
happen?
I'm running an older version of iTunes

imagine losing the capability to create ringtones this way. I'm glad it's still

ringtones in iTunes?
I don't have a tones or ring tones folder. I tried creating one and
putting the new ringtone in it but itunes didn't recognize it. Can you give
a pointer as to what to do?
