Has anyone encountered this error in Event Viewer:
TcpListenerManager: not listening on IPv6: Unable to create listening socket:

I saw a similar document on the VNC Knowledge base for IPv4 that suggests
of connecting to listening viewer doesn't
work

Server, select Add Client, and connect to the listening viewer
successfully by using 192.168.2.10, and can see the server machine's
desktop. Works perfectly. If on that same machine I instead select Add

Check which version of Winsock you have installed - VNC normally requires
Winsock 2.0 or better in order to run. Also check that your TCP stack is
correctly installed - try using telnet to connect to another machine to
test this.

SuSE 9.1 and we got listening mode and vncconnect working, but there are
still some questions.
First I explain what we have done and what is working:
We startet the vnc viewer on the client with:
vncviewer
at the manuals and know how to use vnc in usual mode: we can
look at an other computer and control it. We also found the commands to
start the client in listening-mode:
vncviewer -listen :0
Then on the server we executed the following command:

look at an other computer and control it. We also found the commands to
start the client in listening-mode:
vncviewer -listen :0
Then on the server we executed the following command:
vncconnect -display :0 hostname
... but nothing happend! No error-message!

Have you tried to set another display to see if there's any conflict with some
other application?

I have also tried with TightVNC which lets you
