Re: Thoughts on membership
I have been pondering the comments from Peter and Eugene and their reasons for not being able to pay the $30.00 membership fee. I feel the need to say I was rather disappointed in some of the responses to those comments, and refer to the comment below. It is not for us to judge what is or is not a significant amount of money to someone else.It is also not very wise to be as simplistic as the comment below, about such things. It might work out to 58 cents a week but thrown on top of other expenses people have, $30.00 cannot always be found.I had a young school girl knock on my door last week, fund raising for something, and when I told her I did not want to participate she told me it was just the price of a cup of coffee after all. How patronising! She was given a rather stern talking to and sent on her way. Please don't respond to people's honest expressions of why they cannot meet the $30.00 cost in such patronising ways, it really does demean you. Good morning EveryoneI received my lovely iPad last night and have had troubles with it ever since :-(I thought it should all be fairly straight forward as per my previous Apple goodies, I connected it to my iMac and went through the registration process. Good morning all There has been some 'discussion' at work about leaving phones in the 'Airplane Mode'. According to the health and safety people (Australian Government Department), even when phones are in that mode, dangerous things can happen to people using headset telephones should a call come in.This seems illogical to me as I thought once the phone was in 'Airplane Mode' the telephone part of the phone was turned off completely thereby making it just an iPod sort of thing, if you get my drift. I have done some searching on the internet about this but can't seem to find any answers. Does anyone here have any knowledge about it?At the moment we are required to turn our phones off completely when in any area where headsets are used, not allowed to put it into 'Airplane Mode'. Re: iTunes Authorisation
Michael, I know this won't help, but I have this exact same problem with four iTunes songs, it goes round in circles asking for reauthorisation etc etc. All other iTunes songs play with no problems, it is just with these four.
